The Pearl Within is a symbolic journey beneath the surface — into the parts of ourselves we often search for everywhere but within.
A golden thread extends from the woman’s heart into the depths below, guiding her toward a luminous pearl waiting beneath the water. The pearl represents something that was never truly lost: the self, the truth, the knowing that has always existed within us.
The water symbolizes the inner world — the emotions, memories, fears, and unseen depths we must sometimes enter to rediscover what belongs to us. Above her, light fills the sky; below her, darkness surrounds the pearl. Yet the same golden thread exists in both worlds.
The message: What you are searching for may not be somewhere ahead of you. Sometimes, you simply have to reach within and remember what was already there.
As with all of my work, the symbolism is an invitation rather than a definition. You may see a completely different story — and that story belongs to you.
