I didn’t have a ‘calling’. I owned the general store. My brother was the good one. Divine intervention worked through him. That all changed when they gunned him down in the public square. That’s why they killed him; he was a good man that changed hearts and minds. We’re in a bad place when half the townsfolk cheer for an innocent man’s murder. That’s the kind of darkness we find ourselves in. Evil is devouring our souls, and no one is stepping up to stop it. Enough is enough.
