In Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva is often depicted as a yogi, meditating in deep contemplation. He is portrayed with a serene and composed demeanor, seated or standing in a meditative pose. He is often shown with matted hair called Jata, adorned with a crescent moon and the sacred river Ganga flowing from his locks. Lord Shiva is also known for his third eye, which represents his divine wisdom and ability to see beyond the physical realm.
