When Chon Daj annexed the Athlacan navy and used it to destroy the Kithaern fleet, many of the top navigators from both sides lost their jobs and turned to welcoming arms of the Pirate Island fleet. Together these pirates and navigators kept the trade routes open all throughout the Chon Daj War.
