This artwork is one of three pieces composing a set centered around the theme of being lost in a frozen, distant land. Each piece is able to stand alone, offering its own uniqueness and symbolism, but as a whole, the set is complete, telling its story.
In Lost in Europa, we take an outward looks at our surroundings and come to the realization that our presence is not on Earth, its chillingly cold, and we are lost. However, the sky above is beautiful and so is the terrain that slowly withers away at us. Beauty can be found in even the harshest of conditions.
As we continue our path we travel across a frozen forest with a futuristic patrol vehicle covered in snow. Life may have previously traversed these grounds, but none are around to help now.
Finally, we emerge from the forest only to find more frozen wasteland and large peaking mountains. Our journey, it seems, is far from over.
