Contrast. A seemingly simple word,
but it describes the dynamic tension
that arises from juxtaposition.
The absence of contrast would be a state
of maximum entropy on a certain level,
a nirvana of meaninglessness,
as everything would be one, indistinguishable.
The world as we experience it is a world of difference,
of gradation, of confrontation.
